Mastroianni Landscaping Inc. began with Antonio as a local gardner who moved here from Italy with his family & needed a way to supplement his income. Working at Princeton High School as a Custodian for 25 years, and using the techinical skills learned in Italy, Antonio maintained gardens for selected homes during those years. MLI officially evolved itno a company in 1985 when his son John finally found his passion.John with a bachelor's degree from Rider University in Accounting/Finance, worked for local companies honing his financial reporting & auditing abilities. Hoping to start out on his own, his experiences with Dadtook hold. Landscaping became a passion,2 years were spent at Rutgers University studying core courses in Landscape Design & Horticulture enhancing the life experience gained as a young boy and teenager. Finding a passion with landscaping & building projects, John set out to use his knowledge. Since then, properties maintained by MLI have been given new life. High end maintenance protocols are followed, new outdoor living spaces are being created - Homes built on spec - (stick built, modular, & renovations). Pools-concrete & fiberglass, outdoor cabanas & kitchens have also been added. Just recently custom modular fireplaces have been replacing block fireplace construction. John understands the mechanics of proper property enhancement from being involved in every aspect of home & garden construction. Additionally, John has collarborated with highly respected local Real Estate Organizations with outdoor home staging for new sales.Recently, Stuart Crell joined our organization. Graduating from Penn State University with an Architectural Degree in Landscaping, he worked for large Pennsylvania Landscaping Firms.Stuart honed his skills performing diverse design tasks with intricate plannig. Part of his duties before moving to NJ was to be involved with the renown Phladelphia Flower Show. Here, Stuart won 5 minor awards for design & 1 major horticultural award. Wanting to get back to basics, he decided to use his skills toward the enhancement of home landscapes. Believing in the thought process of paying forward, MLI is associated with charitable community organizations, such as the Junior Leagure of Princeton. In the 2008 RidgeView Showhouse, MLI was selected for 2 projects. The only design firm who was allowed to attack a double renovation at one home. The projects consisted of two very prominent focal points, all to be completed in 4 weeks. The Front Entrance & Pool Cabana Area. The front creates the mood prior to entering one's home. The cabana area creates the entertaining enviroment which inspire the evenings' events,creating a relaxing atmosphere to rejuvinate prior to the workweek ahead. The Pool Cabana Areas werechosen for the June 2009 edition of DesignNJ Magazine. We were doubly enthused when another Cabana project, which MLIdesigned & constructedas part of a larger outdoor master plan, was also chosen to be in the June 2009 edition of DesignNJ Magazine.Mastroianni Landscaping Inc.provides the folowing skill set all in one package: design, construction, budgeting, value engineering, forward & creative thinking. When MLI is included in the planning process of any home renovation, the end landscaping product will look outstanding giving that WOW" feeling.
