Market Design was founded in 2003 by Selim Vural, a Turkish architect with a BArch degree from Fine Arts Academy in Istanbul and an MArch degree from Pratt Institute in New York. After working with his architect father Selim moved to NY to pursue further education. He established Market Design after a 12 year practical experience in firms like Eisenman Architects, SOM, Swanke Hayden and Robert AM Stern. Selim also taught architectural studio classes at the University of Arkansas, New York Institute of Technology and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
