The firm of FleischmanGarcia, a professional association specializing in architecture, planning and interior design, was founded in November of 1971 and incorporated in May of 1972 by Sol J. Fleischman, Jr., AIA and the late Eduardo Garcia, AIA. In August of 1984, the architectural community was stunned by the sudden and unexpected death of Eddie Garcia. Sol Fleischman continued on, expanding the firm and maintaining the original firm goals and professional standards of providing outstanding, award-winning design and the highest quality professional services. In 1989, the firm returned to Tampa//s historic Old Hyde Park district, locating the office in a building designed and developed by Sol.
