Dryden & LaRue (D&L) was originally founded in 1977 by Robert E. Dryden, P.E. and DelbertS.LaRue, P.E. as a consulting electrical engineering firm. DelbertLaRue became sole owner in 1990. D&L employs a full-time staff which includes: Electrical Engineers, Civil/Structural Engineers, Designer/Inspector, AutoCAD Technician, and Clerical Support. D&L's capable and efficient support staff performs a multitude of functions. Staffers prepare and assemble the many specifications, plans, reports, studies, evaluations, and other documents generated by our professional staff. D&L employs skilled draftspersons that produce detailed CAD drawings with in-house or client drafting standards. D&L maintains typical consulting engineering equipment and software. We have modern PCs for each employee with complete up-to-date software packages. In addition to computers, the traditional plotters, printers, drafting systems, scanners, etc. that are expected of a modern consulting business are all on-site. Our software packages include: WordPerfect, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Microsoft Project, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe ImageReady, Quattro Pro, Timeline, Lpile, AutoCAD, PLS-CAD, MathCAD, Extensive CAD Libraries, Alcoa Sag 10, and many specialized in-house programs designed specifically for our use.
