BauerLatoza Studio is a fifteen-person multidisciplinary design firm specializing in architecture, planning, landscape architecture, and sustainable design. We are devoted to quality design within a collaborative studio structure. Located south of the Loop in downtown Chicago, our clients are located predominately in the Greater Chicago Area and Northwest Indiana. Our landscape and park planning work includes the design for new parks and natural areas, public facilities (libraries, schools, and police districts buildings), recreational facilities, streetscapes, framework plans, and large urban residential developments. This position is integral to the Landscape Architecture department and will include project coordination, design, documentation, and client interaction for the types of site projects indicated above. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong AutoCAD skills, good quality hand and/or electronic graphics and rendering skills, construction documentation preparation and site observation experience. Knowledge and experience with native plant materials, ecological design, and green roofs are a plus.
