Established in 2001 by Mr. Xiaowei Ma as AGER Environmental Design, AGER is an international multidisciplinary design firm with offices in Boston, Shanghai and Beijing. All of our principal designers have studied and worked overseas for US and European based design firms, managing complex built projects; 75% of the principals are from other countries, and 20% of our design professionals have studied or worked overseas. Over the past seven years, AGER has grown to nearly 80 people, including landscape architects, architects, planners, civil engineers, graphic designers, and 3D modelers.
AGER offers integrated services in development planning, landscape architecture (including land planning and landscape design), architecture, interior design, and corporate identity design. The firm strives for a balance between preservation and land use, ecology and development achieved on the basis of flexibility and sensitivity to the unique challenges of each particular project.
