I love my job! However, I don’t like the pay. I currently hold A MA but am being paid entry-level monies. I took the job with this firm as part of my career advancement goals. How long should I wait until I ask for a raise or promotion


It sounds as though you made a decision and now are a little unsure if it was the right one. The good thing is that you like your job. Try first speaking to your boss, assuming of course, that you have been there more that a week?.



1-2 years is a good stable time frame. This gives you time to prove yourself to your employer as well as become knowledgeable about the business. Also, do a little research and see what the market rate is for your job description.
